ViewerJS lets you display Open Document presentations, Open Document spreadsheets, PDF files, and other documents on your website without any external dependencies.
This is the Unofficial plugin for elgg. It is cross-platform and compatible with mobile devices. Works without a problem with any theme, and won't mess with elgg CSS.
It resolves a minor issue with Cross-Origin Resource Sharing.
