Release Notes

  • applied Elgg coding standards
  • Its Elgg 1.10 now. Can I assume this works with Elgg 1.10.x?
It will be really helpful  if Google login is added too.

"Connect to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Hyves, OpenBibID and WordPress"
Will it connect to any self-hosted WordPress site using the wordpress downloadable from wordpress.org or does "Wordpress" means wordpress.com?
    Thanks for this utility.

  • Has anyone tested this with 1.9?

  • Hi there,

For LinkedIn, any reason as to why the plugin does not grab the email from LinkedIn to log an existing user in instead of creating tokens? There is a socialink_facebook_get_user_id_from_access_token function, why could there not be a socialink_linkedin_get_user_id_from_access_token?

When we build the plugin the LInkedIn API didn't allow access to the users email address or user-id. I haven't looked at the api in a long time so i don't know if this has changed over the years

OK. email is one of the few user attributes that is now available. When I am done with my mods, I will try and update your github repo.
