I get some trouves with hypeWall-iZAP Videos tabs.

I have enabled the following video option: Off server videos, On server videos and Embed code.

So when I click on add Video I have 3 tabs: Add url, Upload video and Add embed code.

The first Tab (Add url) works perfectly but when I click on other tab (Upload video and Add embed code.) I am just redirected to activity home page and form for uploading video are not display.

When I click on Upload video, I have the following in my URL:  https://esf-elgg.aff.org/activity?option=ONSERVER

When I click on Add embed code, I have the following in my URL:  https://esf-elgg.aff.org/activity?option=EMBED

Could someone help me ? I dont know what's wrong ? I am using the lastest release of hypeWall-iZAP Videos and I am using elgg 2.3.3

  • I'm afraid I can't reproduce what you describe. The only thing the "hypeWall-iZAP Videos and Tidypics" plugin does is to add the Add video and Add photo icons to the hypeWall section that redirect then to the corresponding pages of iZAP Videos and Tidypics. Once you have clicked to the Add video icon and you are on the add video form the change of tabs is no longer influenced by the "hypeWall-iZAP Videos and Tidypics" plugin at all. And for me the urls to the upload video and embed video tabs are alright.

Does it work for you if you go directly to the Add video page (not via the hypeWall link)? Right now I can only assume that some other 3rd party plugin causes the issue or that there might be an issue with some version of a hype*** plugin that I don't have (using hypeApps 5.1.1, hypeWall 4.4.11, and iZAP Videos 2.3.3).

(As a sidenote: the embed video option in iZAP Videos makes no sense anymore. It only works with the htmlawed plugin disabled (which is a security risk!). I have only not removed this option for people who know very well what they are doing.)

  • Hi thanks a lot for your answer.

I user the  embed video option in iZAP Videos just for testing purpose. I will remove it in production environment.

When I go directly to the Add video page evrything work perfectly.

So I will check if the problem is dur to third party library (hypeApps, hypeWall)

    Best regard
