Nice ! I have been building Video Chat for the last weeks, based on webrtc but wouldn't have if I knew you were building this one. Since I am almost finished, I will continue. Benefits of webrtc is that it is independent of adobe and/or licensing. Drawback is that IE and Safari do not yet support it.
Hi
Hope to see your chat in action soon.
oh, ok - i was confusing webrtc with the protocol that adobe cirrus is using.
Well, It is in fact in action although not yet finished. A guest could test drive it using this link. For registered users it is integrated with the text chat function. Things that are not working yet, are guests inviting others and I'd like to integrate Free PBX and/or Asterisks to allow secure Video Chat and a "Call me now" functionality to VOIP phones. Another feature on my list is to include "Multi User Video Chat". But this requires at least a webrtc channel server like Asterisks, which we are setting up right now.
@Ura, webrtc is a standard, while adobe cirrus is proprietary. That's the most important reason to go on with my efforts and off course because I already started my project :-)
@rayzz..com You have done a great job here. If and where possible I'll try to use some of your work if you don't mind. And I am not even sure I can ever release my code, since it is currently too much entangled.
sounds great, i am glad you are creating this solution. :)
there is a protocol that is used by adobe cirrus that sounds like webrtc but it is different.. i don't have the code in front of me presently. it is a similar set of letters to rtc.. something like frtmp.. or something.. ;)
does this work on mobile.....
Sorry, it doesn't work on mobile

Hi
Just logged your site in, opened Video Chat and had no problems or Connection Error message.
Please let me know how to reproduce the problem? Which your actions provoked this message?
oh..when i enter the adobe id in my site..got this message
but you have the necessary key saved in settings already. Wht do you need to enter it once again?
@rayzzz.com it doesn't seem to work with Nginx, here's the URL http://demyx.com/rzchat
Outputs no errors, div id "rz_app" is empty.

Yes, seems it's not compatible with this script. Which CMS do you use?
What do you mean? Elgg is a CMS, if you're asking what host I'm on, my site is running on an unmanaged VPS.
Which version do you use?
contact me at rayzexpert@gmail.com with your site ftp access.
1.8.19 and where would you need access on my server?
at least to <elgg root directory>/mod/rzchat directory with modifying files privilegies
Sorry I don't feel comfortable giving you that much access.
Well, <elgg root directory>/mod/rzchat is just my plugin's directory and all the files I am going to change is my plugin's files which you can easily restore. So I am not sure what the problem is.
Ok I will make a test account for you since I really like this plugin. Give me a moment.
Done, I will leave the plugin enabled.
Ok works now, you will probably need to release this fix on the next version so other Nginx users can benefit from it.
Hey, I am using rzchat, well trying to, and having some trouble. I have it activated within the Admin area, yet cannot seem to find it anywhere on my actual site. Its loaded in as a menu item, and I am using a Facebook theme... Version 1.8.19, FireFox... Can you point me in the right direction?
