I made the plugin to be used at my employer's intranet Elgg as the "Thursday cake plugin". The purpose is to automatically maintain a list of "Whose turn it is to bring a cake to the coffee break on Thursday".

The plugin can be used to maintain any list that updates daily/weekly/monthly. New members are added to the beginning or the list (because sometimes we have interns that stay only for a couple of months, so otherwise they would leave before their turn comes up. ;D ).

Be adviced that the "thursday cake" is the only list ever made with the plugin, so there may be a bunch of bugs hiding in it.

Todo:

• Make it possible to configure how many days earlier the reminder gets sent
• Add support for daily and monthly intervals
• Add possibility to enrol new user accounts automatically to specific lists
