To avoid any confusion.  This is not the same as the original "Classic Theme" for Elgg which you can find here: http://www.jubo.co.uk/classic-theme-elgg-theme-1-8/

It might not be free... but, for the small amount it costs, you get: 

• The front page - as in the picture above
• A much more refined design - that is consistent throughout the site
• A Themed walled garden page
• 100% compatibility with the Mobilize plugin
• That request-of-all-requests... A FB-like header image!  The user can upload an image to be displayed across the top of their profile and blog pages.
• And, last but not least, you get the wonderful support of a web designer who knows Elgg inside out.

If you did not know, you can use widget manager to make a custom index page for this theme and add the slider etc

not at this time yes it runs with tiny pics plugin make sure you download the edited tiny pics plugin newest edited release

yes its run using widgetmanger .. u need to get the newer version from github
