I installed and activated on the latest Elgg software with the default theme.

But I can not see Plugin settings in my Admin panel. Please help me.

@kisssssss4ever the PlugIn is not testet on elgg 1.8.19. But you can activate the PlugIn on the latest Elgg-Version and normally you get the Settings too. Have you deleted the suffix '-master' on the PlugIn-Folder 'follow_tags'? 

Thanks for the reply, yes I did not upload -maste folder and I uploaded only foolow_tags files and activated the plugin but I can not find any settings. I am using Elgg 1.8.19 with default theme.

I am using Elgg 1.9.4 and am able to install this without any problem but I do no see any follow tag button or link

On the Activity page, when I click the new "My tags" tab, it gives the following error: 

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_metadata_byname() in /home/www/hwsamuel.com/cardea/mod/follow_tags/lib/functions.php on line 329

The function "get_metadata_byname()" is deprecated since Elgg 1.8. Maybe you use a higher version? This plugin is no longer being developed. Try the plugin "Tag Tools" from Jeroen Dalsem: https://elgg.org/plugins/1939279 - it has nearly the same functionality.
