Hi Tom,
Thanx for the plugin. I found a prob for those using this with nginx.
in securimage.php, we need to put quotes around dbuser, dbpass and dbname.
Even though php 'assumes' the correct meaning, the warning thrown breaks the image in nginx.
So if we make lines 396, 404 and 412 look like the following respectively, all seems to work fine:-
public $database_user = 'dbuser';
public $database_pass = 'dbpass';
public $database_name = 'dbname';
P.S. Tom, I was going to post this on github for you but noticed that that hadn't been updated for a couple of months now. Is that still in sync with this update?
Cheers again.
Drew

@ Ron Wallace, I will look into your request. I have been busy for the last few months and I have not been contributing to elgg the way i should. Thanks for your input.
@ Jylocasin, I will look test it on the browsers yo suggested and see if any improvement can be implemented on Elgg Captcha.
I really appreciate this plugin, but -after a first period working- it seems to find all the codes uncorrect. The site is www.veggie-online.com. How could I fix this? Thanx
Francesco
@ francescomda, thanks for your report. Sorry for taking long to respond to your request- been busy for some time. I will look into the issues and get back to you as soon as i can. There is a new version that is cooking on the stove. Hope when it is ready I will make it available.
Hey Tom, I noticed another user posted this same issue as me, but it ended up on an old thread. Great Plugin, but I have no sound. Any idea what it could be?
