@ mariano, go to admin area and set the elgg captcha as you wish and test as you drink Special Elgg summer refreshing soft drink... don't put liquids near your keyboard because, while coding or browsing, liquids can spill on the entire keyboard :)

Its not working, I'm writing the correct captcha but its not letting to register by saying incorrect captcha message, please let me know if I'm missing anything.

@ saiz , which versin of Elgg captcha are you using? I have been busy this week but I will look at  your issue this weekend. Thank you for your response.

It seems that several of the captcha plugins don't play well with the profile_managers changed registration page. So far I ahve only gotten the image_captcha and the re-captcha plugin to work, and both are sadly not very spam proof.

When I use this plugin it shows the captcha just fine, but without an error or anything like that it simply returns you to the blank registration page after hitting the registration button and no new user is created.

The same is happening with the text-captcha plugin by the way... so it seems to be a general issue which I guess is related to the profile_manager.

ok, seems like this is actually related to the delay in loading the input test highlight and password lenth check or something like that. sorry for the false report.

It does however not play nice with the profile_manager insofar as it prevents the registration text box to appear.

@ Krischan, It is nice to hear that you are testing it and have given your feedback. With the Profile_manager, the next release will work well with profile manger. The laitest Elgg Captcha version that  works with profile manager  that I am working on  can be tested at:      http://myadventhome.org/register
