Beautifull plugin! thank you.  But:

1. when like the wire message - the text of the wire message isn't displayed in Notification. its looks like:

Тest test like your post: ......... - it isn't convenient for users.

2. There has to be a Notification for user at the answer to his wire message.

3. There has to be a Notification for user at the answer to his discussion post in the group.

Missing option for user to delete notifications

Can I have some help please? I installed it on my website but when the notification comes up, it says for example  'Person liked :        '   What they liked or whatever is blank. How can I fix this?

seems like a language file problem. have you tried moving notifications to the bottom of the list?

Due to depricated message and some conflicts with other plugins I disabled live notificatins and removed it. Now every 10 seconds this system annotation appears:

The requested action (live_notifications/refresh_count) was not defined in the system.

How to delete that, please?

How can I link up notification title to the particular section instead of default to user profile? e.g. if notification is for the friend request then it should goes to Friend list, if its for wire post then it should goes to wire post etc... Anybody can have an idea?

add_new_notification($to_user_guid, $from_user_guid, $action_type, $entity_guid, $description); but where I have to insert this code and what chage I have to make to work with river comments.

I am using elgg 1.7. Can you customize your plugin for elgg 1.7. It would be great if i could contribute some amount for your good work.

So, I'm having some trouble.  Here's my setup:

Custom theme, HypeFramework 1.8, HypeAlive 1.8, Live Notifications (this one).

HypeAlive treats comments as entities, as far as I understand.  So when you comment using HypeAlive, the comment you are creating doesn't go through Elgg as a comment, but rather, its own entity, which HypeAlive loads as a comment for whichever item it relates to.

So, I'm trying to get a live in-site notifications system working with these comments, so that users can see when others comment on their posts and whatnot.  But I think there is a disconnection between Hype and this notification system.

In the readme of the notifications it says to add this line inside the event that should generate a notification: "

add_new_notification($to_user_guid, $from_user_guid, $action_type, $entity_guid, $description);

"

So, I've taken that line and added it into HypeAlives save.php where it actually gets the input and saves the comment.  However, I'm not sure what parameters to but in between thebrackets?  And no other notifications appear to be coming through either, for, say, likes (also via hypealive), messageboard posts, friend adding, etc.  Has anyone with a similar setup got everything working>?

I encounter the following issue with Live_nortifications on elgg 1.10.5 in subdomain ( I tried many version of the plugin).

When I try to modify an already existent comment (in a blog for example), I receive the warning "Unexpected ..... May be the connection to the server is lost".

Did anyone had the same issue ?
