[Elgg 1.8-1.12 & 2.X: Feedback] v1.10.5

Release Notes

  • Usage of elgg_view_icon() instead of elgg-icon classes,
  • Fixed usage of ajax_loader.gif,
  • Improved identification of IP address of logged out visitors who give feedback and don't enter a name or email address,
  • Fixed bug that resulted in the IP address of anonymous visitors getting lost on feedback submit,
  • Improvements in layout of feedback content in list of feedback and feedback widget in admin area,
  • composer.json added.
  • This is a great plugin and I have recommended it. I wasn't sure if I should post this here or as an issue on github but since it isn't a bug I figured I would post it here.

A couple of ideas that might make it better. Have a carbon copy of what is sent to the admin sent to the user who submitted the feedback so they have a copy.

Under the Utilities section where there is the feedback there is a link to the page. Make the submitter's email address also link so the admin can click on it and reply directly if they wish.

  • Yes Michele that is and excellent suggestion and would work as well.

  • @Dan @Michele Can't make any promises but I will look into it.
