Adverts and ads and boost traffic on Elgg websites
I was just reading discussion on elgg and i saw a lot of questions about ads needed on elgg websites using "Facebook theme for elgg" and "My cool theme" other popular elgg based themes .

Open the website and then click on any profile activities and look on the left and right side of the page. As you click on diffrent menues on the left side, the ads are reloaded with new ads each and every click you make... i mean, each Twizanex page has diffrent ads loaded when a page is browsed or when twizanex links are clicked. I have only tested it on "Facebook theme for elgg". For those using "My cool Theme" and other popular elgg based thems, you can test it out when it will be ready for download on elgg community.
I had to design a plugin that is taking care of the whole twizanex site ads. The twizanex ads or adverts plugin works without too much codes changes... just activate the plugin and your site is twizanex ads ready to go...

@Carl22 I checked your site and the ads on the site right sidebar. Your ads displays well. However, I saw that your ads load before the contents to be served. I saw that the Google AdSense JavaScript is loaded at the HEAD section of your site. This might sound like a good idea. You might make money from Google... however, once your website start getting like more than 1000 members (1k) and above, and your site has more plugins, the ads will slow down your site contents. The twizanex ads plugin gives the website owner more control. The site contents are served first the ads last..... And this is what most users need.

@ Manoj Shankar , Soon the Elgg Ads manager is going to be ready for download. Elgg Ads is one of the most important plugin for elgg based sites because that is how the admins can manage to pay for their site expenses...
is this going to be a paid plugin or free to elgg community?
@ LT, There is an updated version Elgg Ads "Elggnex" which has improved features, and even many other things. To be honest much thought and effort went into developing the Elgg Ads plugin "Elggnex for Elgg 1.8 and 1.9" - I'm still in the valley of decisions whether or not to release it as some kind of donation based plugin, because it's just very very nice or sooooo good!
