Hi Elgg Members,
Actually I was analysing Elgg regarding it's inbuilt SEO. But I found 'title' meta tags only, No 'keywords' and 'discription' with in.
I am Certified SEO professional and would like to clear that Onpage SEO(Metas) are not much important but the main important thing is Offpage SEO(Backlinks). You can be on search engine top without meta-keywords and meta-description if you managed to get number of good backlinks from high PR websites.
Hence, please keep concentration on getting good backlinks rather than meta-keywords and meta-description.
More, I found that Elgg is good with it's indexing in Google and you can check it very easily. Just type 'site:<your-elgg-website>' (Example: site:www.myelgg.com) in Google and you will get almost pages of your site which has been indexed very quickly in Google.
I wish you got what I mean to say!
Awaiting for your comments and aim to answer any of your questions as quick as I can.
Thanks :-)

You will definitely want to make sure your on-page SEO is up to par. It's very critical to your success. While it's true that off-page makes up a huge amount of the effort. You can't get the results without first taking care of what's on your website.
