Hi everybody!
I'm Ivan, the lead developer of this plugin.
I think that this development has slept too much. So It's time to get back and rebuild the Kaltura plugin for the new version of Elgg 1.6
I want to apologize for this long time without saying anything, I really needed this time for me and my stuffs. Now, I am full of energy and I want to continue with the work.
Finally, any help will be appreciated, specially with constructive comments to solve bugs and make improvements.
My plans are now to adapt the current plugin for the new Elgg 1.6, then I'll release the new version of the plugin and we can start with improvements if there are some interest here for that.
Thanks!
Ivan

wow hi Ivan!!!
how are you?
nice to see you back...I love your plugin :-)
good work!!!
Thanks guys! I'm fine & happy to know about you!
oh yes, awesomeness abound!!
cool
Hi Ivan, and guys,
Nice to see the plugin is still a-live! and you plan to actively extend and maintain the work.
Since the last version we had many things updated on docs and sample kits on kaltura.org that you should check out for the next version. Start on these pages:
Understand the Kaltura Open Source Video Platform.
Getting started with Kaltura Client Libraries.
Learn how to use, embed and create interactive video pages with the KDP (Kaltura Dynamic Player).
Other thing to notice is the "Kaltura Frenzy Challenge" that can get you funding of up to $5K for the project! Details at: http://www.kaltura.org/frenzy (last date to submit roadmap: October 20th).
Zohar Babin.
Thanks Zohar, this days I'm reading documentation for both systems, Elgg and Kaltura. I tried to submit the project to the challenge but seems that something doesn't worked. I'll try again...
Hi Ivan,
Your plugin was accepted - Check it out on: http://www.kaltura.org/frenzy-challenge-2
You should send roadmap to me by email.
First beta version out:

Can video be uploaded into Kaltura (on an elgg site) from a cell phone?
Thanks much!
Hi Ivan Vergés !
Nice to see you back...
@Ivan Verges, the First beta version link is showing a blank screen:
http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/ivan/read/301165/kaltura-collaborative-video-plugin
Is it a broken link?
Thanks for good work.
Thanks.
Looks like Ivan was back almost 4 years ago... don't people look a the time of previous post?
We have hired Matt and Arck interactive to extend and upgrading the http://community.elgg.org/plugins/1207533/1.0/simple-kaltura for us so look to that one for the most updated working version of this plugin.
We are going to bulid on top of it and then we are happy to release the updates to the community.
