Well, I guess this is a good place to detail my interest in Elgg.I know it's a Wiki, but that's OK :-)
I've been involved with Moodle for many years (and also Mahara, and other e-learning platforms, applications, products). I've always liked the Elgg project, and I've decided that this year I'm going to dedicate some more time to it.
As I'm Managing Diretor of HRDNZ (official Moodle Partner) I'm interested in ways that Moodle and Elgg can work together in a complimentary way, as well as Elgg in a standalone setting.
I've setup a Raspberry Pi with Elgg, and with an optimised Raspbian OS and webserver it's got a reasonable performance (keeping max file upload sizes small etc.)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting up-to-speed with Elgg again, and aiming at contributing something useful :-)
