The Latest Stable plugin can be downloaded by going to my plugins page here. Changes from 2.1 to 2.2: Found a small typo in my css that was throwing off the captcha... I accidently added some extra characters to one of the fields... This one...
    • In your last release you said "Found a small typo in my css that was throwing off the captcha... I accidently added some extra characters to one of the fields..."

I have installed the latest release and the captcha keeps telling me "Sorry, the text that you entered didn't match the text in the image."

so I'm wondering, what was the change in the css file? or is this problem I'm having unrelated to the css issue?

    • Works well. It borks two other plugins tho. 1) registrationterms where they have to click, I agree to the terms (link). and the other is 2) the captcha. I liked the default capta better than this one.

Is there a quick fix I can do for the terms tho?  thanks

    • Hi,

For some members the confirmation link appears like this :

      http://mycommunity.com/action/siteaccess/confirm?u=3D7739&c=3Db26=caecc42...

It sounds like an encoding problem, no? I tried to change UTF8 by ISO-8859-1 : no change.

      Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

      Any idea ?

    • I'm not clear on what your saying.  Are you having a problem with a popup message? or is that fixed?

What software are you using? Or is your software able to read the numbers on the image? What do you mean exactly?

    • Np.  Have you used allsubmitter on the captcha yet.  It's pretty random and I don't know if it is that suceptable to guessing.  From what I read allsubmitter only handles simple captchas.  I'm not saying it's unbreakable but they would have to have something that can OCR the image.  I doubt they would be able to figure out the algorithm because its unique to each site.

    • This looks like an excellent plugin, will give it a try tonight :)

    • Well to embed the form into another page that's easy.  just use..

$html = elgg_view("account/forms/register");  You probably should pass in the $friend_guid and $invitecode if your using those. I can give you a complete example if needed.

    • It's the linking of the lightbox part I'll have trouble with. I have to learn how to (preload/call)? scripts, extend views, where to put files, ETC..... I'll take any examples you would like to share. No better way to learn than getting in there and experimenting.

    • Works great, no errors so far :p

Your such a great developer understanding the elgg engine and what not. Why not tackle a friend request system, since the current 3 either don't work or plain out suck.
