A pity it doesn't work out.

Maybe ONSERVER support can't be enabled due to the PDO extension missing on your server. I don't know if this is checked by izap_videos when you try to enable ONSERVER video support. Are you sure that you have PDO drivers installed on your server? But OFFSERVER and EMBED should work nonetheless independently of this. Have you tried to enable only one at a time? The additional tabs most likely only show up with ONSERVER support enabled.

I'm not sure if upgrading to Elgg 1.6.3 will solve your issue with the undefined funtions. As far as I know 1.6.2 and 1.6.3 were mainly security issues that didn't implemented new features. Take your time with the upgrade though. How about upgrading to Elgg 1.7.3 directly? Of course, you would have to check for all your plugins being compatible with Elgg 1.7+ first and this should be done carefully before the upgrade.

iionly is right, upgrade to elgg 1.6.3 might not causing this problem. This seems to me conflict with other plugin. And one more thing, you no need to run upgrade.php explicitly. It will be automatically upgraded if required.

Success! I'm not sure what was screwy and interfering with the plugin, but after updating everything to 1.6.3 the tabs are working.

Now that I can see the server diagnostics, I do need to sort some things out with my webhost before I can support onserver videos. Still excited about the plugin, though.

HA!  I got the thumbnails to work but only after switching to Mark Harding's version of iZap videos.  found here:  http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/project/384865/developer/markharding93/izap_videos-with-better-video-player?annoff=50

good to hear that my protege's version of izap video works fine w/ the thumbnails - he's only about 15 years old lolz ;-P He's been busy with other things.. so most likely you won't hear from him too soon ;-)

The explanation why it works with "izap_videos with better video player" is quite simple... this plugin is based on version 1.5 of izap_videos. It has been updated over a year ago for the last time. The same with "3 column riverdashboard": updated 286 days ago.

I guess version 2.5 of izap_videos will also still work with the "3 column riverdashboard" plugin. I've never used the "izap_videos with better video player" myself. I only know that the original izap_videos plugin in version 2.5 (maybe in version 1.5, too) had a bug that resulted in video files not getting deleted from the server when you delete them from the site. Also the original files were always saved too in addition to the converted files.

Of course, most importantly the plugins you use have to work together. The question is if they still fully work on Elgg 1.7+ (security tokens). The izap_videos plugin in the latest version does and also a few new featured and options have been implemented. And at least all the bugs I found and reported have been fixed.

Do you have Adobe's Flash plugin for IE installed? While Chrome, FF, Opera all use the same Flash plugin you have to install the ActiveX version for IE separately.
