re ColdTrick plugin event_manager is this an elgg plugin ? i have downloaded it and put it into mod folder but it is not showing in my plugin list in elgg?

yes event_manager is an elgg plugin, make sure you have unzipped it correctly such that the start.php file is in /mod/event_manager/start.php

Make sure the permissions are such that the files can be read by the server

Will this page be displayed in Elgg? This would allow you to use the Elgg API = much simpler.

I do upload fixes. Just not as often as you want, clearly.

I'm happy to consider pull requests. Otherwise you will need to wait for my next update which depends upon my development schedule. Paid development takes priority as I need to feed my family.

Have a look at the "region" sort function, I bet that can be modified to look for other input fields too.

I just noticed that the event calender actally seems to have an option kind of like that titled:

Location of iCal authentication file on local file system (experimental - not needed for public feeds)

Is there any documentation on how to actually enable that though?
