yes, same as you resolve all other whitescreen issues - check your logs

this is related to the navigation arrows (left/right) and previous/next images not being returned correctly.. haven't found exactly why yet. i posted to github.. is anyone coding/testing tidypics?

same problem here, looking for solution, hopefully someone can help.

there is also  "HTTP error" on flash uploader at firefox and opera. On chrome/ie works ok. (but still the problem with "Unable to save a new objects base entitiy information" when trying to upload photos to albums belond to another user (works fine with regular basic uploader) regardless of browser.

Here I am confused, As in group also you should not able to upload the image to other album because this is permission issue as in tidypics you don’t have option to upload the album created by someone else i.e "users can allow other users to add photos to their album" Even i am working on tidypics and having issue with flash uploaded will let you know if got any solution

I think the error is caused by the flash uploader. The flash uploader was newly introduced in the late Elgg 1.7 versions of Tidypics and was not really working well (I think some people still have problems with it using the latest Elgg 1.8 version of Tidypics).

I would suggest to switch to the basic uploader. You can configure the uploader to be used in the plugin settings of Tidypics so that you don't need to select the uploader on each single pics upload.

If you're starting a new project I can't see any good reason to use 1.7.  You should use 1.8

There is not at the moment, the Tidypics team is working on making a new release for elgg 1.8 just wait till it is release
