This relates to the native to elgg1.5 plugin.

When one e-mail address is entered, it works the invitee receives an e-mail.

If more than one e-mail address is entered (instructions followed, one e-mail address per line), no e-mails are received, not even the invitee on the first line.

Why would this be ? Is there a setting I am missing as the admin ?

Also, the invitation received by invitee says that when they join the community they will automatically be added as a friend of the person who invited them. I have so far seen no evidence that this is so.
