Dear friends, 

I am new to elgg, using 1.8.6 version. I do not like messageboard and wire, I want to keep simple Activity feeds as facebook has.

I think there is plugin called river in elgg which can do that for me? I am not sure how I can make Activity feeds same as facebook has on their main page and on user profile.

Please guide me which plugin in elgg can do that for me?  

I am so confuse between wire and messageboard, have no idea why so many different types of Activity feeds on the site. Can we have only something like facebook wall? on our elgg home page and user profiles?
