I recently switched servers. When my host transfered all my data from the old server to the new one, everything looked to have been successfully transferred all except one, my elgg site. Upon looking to see what the issue was, I noticed through the error messages the site was displaying, the directory path to my elgg site still reflected the old one. How can I change that so that it now points to the new directory path? I don't remember the version of elgg I had, but I think it was 1.8.4.

If the data is all on the new server already, you most likely only need to adjust the database entries. Best would be to read the whole text though to make sure all steps of the server move have been done correctly.
Got it, thank you! :D
