Is there a plugin where all users who register will automatically have the site admin as a friend? I don't know if any of you remember MySpace, but when you first signed up, you had Tom, the site admin, already as a friend. Do any of you know if there is a plugin like that available for Elgg 1.8.4?

Hmm, that plugin seems to be a good one, however in the comments section of that plugin, user Kron seems to be getting errors, and when I uploaded and installed this plugin I got the same errors.
But, it seems to be working so I guess I am okay with it. If there's another out there that is error message free (because I'm OCD like that :P) please let me know! Thanks for your help! :D
Fixing these errors is not too difficult. I posted the solution for the 2 warnings mentioned in the comments on the plugins page. There are a few additional uses of deprecated functions within the plugins code but they can be fixed quite in the same way.
The updated version of the plugin is now available for download in the community
