How to Remove User Registration/Signup Form in Elgg 1.8

I need help on how to remove user registration form from my Elgg 1.8 production site. I intend my Elgg production site to be closed to people I do not know hence, I will prefare to activate member/user accounts myself through the Adminstrative Panel/Backend.

and
Enable the site to run as a private network. This will not allow non logged-in users to view any site pages other than those specifically marked as public.
Also in the advanced settings:
User registration is enabled by default. Turn this off if you do not want new users to be able to register on their own.
