Insight about performances capabilities and scalability of Elgg
Hello,
I would like to have some infomation about the useablity of elgg in large scales projects (50,000 users and more) and what are the step we can do to optimize elgg performance.
I'm using elgg 1.8.3 at the moment.
Would love to hear about ideas or use cases.

50k registered users shouldn't be a problem for Elgg, even without complex modifications. Of course, depends on how active your users are. 50k active ( logged in) users require more complex optimizations.
