My First Elgg Site! (One issue haha)

Hello Elgg community! I have started to use Elgg and love it. However there is one issue I can't seem to correct. In Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 the *upload* function does not work for Avatart or Files plugin. Nothing happens. Any advice?
