Hi friends,
I have some experience using Elgg, and not an expert. I did some changes in my server so I can let friends host other sites. So I installed ISP config and did some changes. There I had some problemas, I have fix, but right now I have an issue with Elgg.
I did two important changes.
My site was in the directory:
/var/www/mysite.com/
Now it is in the directory
/var/www/mysite.com/web/
I have change the database to reflect this changes and others following the duplicate site tutorial in the wiki:
http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Duplicate_Installation
I have don this before several times, but no success this one. The sites behave weird. I have done the upgrade.php too.
The part that I found weird is this message in apache logs that elgg is looking for modules in /var/www/mysite.com/mod instead of /var/www/mysite.com/web/mod.
The var path is set to /var/www/mysite.com/web/
Any place else where the path could be saved? A cache in apache or mysql. First time this happens to me.
Best regards and thanks,
Rafael

You must log in to post replies.Just for the record. I asked a similar question on the ISPconfig community:

Hi!
Which version of elgg are you using?
Did you change the URL location as explained here? http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Duplicate_Installation

1.7 and I did. I would start over, I am sure I am missing something very simple.
Gracias,
Rafael
Fixed, I just delete all and start over. Anyway, thanks,
Rafael
