You should know that the passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
Thanks. I have a partner site under the same hosting powered by ocportal. How would I allow users to login with their elgg accounts (Kidspace X)
@Shouvik Mukherjee -Can't find that
It's in your Elgg Database.
Speedy, the usual technique is write a plugin for the integrated app that authenticates off the Elgg login cookie. This usually requires both apps to share the same domain. Eg. elgg.example.com and ocportal.example.com.
Mine works differently. My host has a script pre-installer. It comes out to be like mydomain.com/elgg and mydomain.com/ocportal.
It is still under the same host
Then that should still work fine. You can share cookies with that arrangement.
I know. How would I do that?
I can still not find the file. Is it hidden.
my elgg loccation is http://kidspaceX.com/social/ so it is under /social. Then where is the list of users
