Yep - It can be done ;)
BUT - you kinda need to 'define' & scope what you meant :-

Those SideBar menu texts *are from the *language file and so
usually -- this becomes a very *cumbersome task
-- to have code there that is always there on the watch
to zap the SideBar menu texts.
A little bit of fair bit of coding to 'always' be on guard...

Just so that the term "group" essentially changes to something other, say "companies", and that maybe is on the menus they say the "xzy company files", "xyz company discussion", etc.

So BiLliE :- What did you have mind, what kinda detailed feature R U looking for ? As already explained discussed etc above ? I did kinda similar custom groups sideBar and other Menu areas thwangz for some Client or other some however months not too far ago.. 1/3 remember their project details...
