i did not find the howto for "custom index 1.8". i installed it, but there is no button to customise the index. and the index is empty. how/where can i edit this page?

You must log in to post replies.With the default "custom index 1.8" plugin, there is no interface to customize its layout. In 1.7 there was a plugin to customize it. But not yet in 1.8.
You should be editing the index.php file manually to modify its layout.

In 1.8.x elgg you must edit the following file:
custom_index / views / default / page / layouts / custom_index.php
Note that each class corresponds to classes defined in its own
custom_index / views / default / custom_index / css.php and in the nucleus, for example: www.tusitio.com / views / default / css / elements / grid.php
