Help with profile

Hello, I would like a way for a user to register and have the option to fill in some details about which football team they support and then display that on their profile page. It would also be nice to allow people to choose a background of the football club they support however this is not as essential as the first requirement. Does anyone know how to do this? |

To add profile fields:

It's also possible to add them to the registration page.
For users choosing their own background there is a theme called customstyle but I don't know if it works with the latest releases of Elgg.
