Announcements MOD
Ok I am looking for an annoucements MOD for 1.8. I would like to were I could put "Site will be down for upgrades on DATE TIME" on the main page.

There is also a plugin for closing a site for maintenance:

It's not for 1.8 yet, but should be possible to convert it to 1.8.
@slyhne - I wish I knew how to update the maintenance mod for 1.8. I really need that mod and have nad no response from the person that wrote it. I hope that another user adapts it for 1.8.
@Frank I worked out the incompatibilities with the maintenance mod last night. I will upload a 1.8 version in a while... its early for me and I need coffee... but when I get into the office I'll pack it up and upload it.
