Missing users
Hi There,
I am wondering if there is a "silly" thing I have done - I've install the script and all is well except I don't seem to be able to see users?
They can join, no problem. However in the USER plugin there is no way to add a user as a friend and no way to add users to any groups etc.
Not sure where to go from here.

What do you mean by a "user" plugin?
By default in Elgg users add themselves to groups although there are plugins that can change that. You should be able to see your users through the admin interface or the members plugin.

Thanks so much for your help.
Sorry - you're right - what I meant was that my users can see themselves but can not interact with other users. As ADMIN I can see I have many users, however when I log in as one of them (test) I can not see other users or add them as friends etc etc.
It's as though alll users are private and are not able to interact with each other.

Turn of all thirdparty plugins you are using and check whether the problem is solved.

Tried that ... I can see I have users in STATISTICS but when I go to USER ADMINSTRATION I see none?

Those users need to be validated before they appear in the user administration panel, You can see them in the unvalidated users section, if the uservalidationbyemail plugin is enabled
