Please Help [Writing Mod]

Hi,
Let me start off by saying I want to write a mod that enables users to view their Twitter timeline and post to twitter from the mod. I do NOT know how to write PHP very well but I can read it well. Can someone tell me where to start (i know, check the Docs pages :P) but as in doing something that enables this :\

Well I can't use that because I use login with twitter. Both enabled at the same time gives an error and one won't work
