By calendar field, do you mean the short list of events that appears on the main group profile page?

Keep in mind that this only shows current or future events. So if you happened to create a test event in the past it won't show.

In my current version of the event calendar (I just uploaded it to github) I do see the 5 or so upcoming events on the group profile page.

You are right, it was my fault. My test event was in the beginning of September ;)

Btw. what would really be cool would be an option to select the first day of the week. Its monday over here ;)
