You must log in to post replies.Difficult to give you precise instructions. You could take a look at the existing template plugins for getting a similar look for your site.
Or, can hire developers from the Professional group and enjoy your football match, leaving all the headache to him ... ;)

How would one look at the existing template plugins? Which template is the current elgg.org site using?
community.elgg.org has some of it's own customizations. I believe these are open source so you can take a look at them here:

Yes, they're open source but I'm not sure I'd suggest them as a model. They're outdated and use deprecated practices! Can't wait to get the community site updated to 1.8!
@Anaphora You could use this theme and edit it to make it look like elgg.org
