Team Webgalli's anti-spammer is a must,the more sites that use it the less spam for ALL!
If the spammer just registers and doesn't add any content it won't record the IP,but if they add anything,in most case,blog posts, it will record it,then you just delete the content and click "mark as spammer" a lot of spammers,if they are aware you have this plugin will stay away because you have it installed...
