Greetings,
I am moving a site to my local server to experiment with, but the images in tidypics and a lot of the icons for users and groups are no longer being displayed.
I have taken a look at the wiki page about moving a site, and followed the instructions ther (several times :-(
The apache server logs are showing that the image is not found :-
file_get_contents(/home/rober132/public_html/garden-club.org/files/2010/12/06/2/image/456/largethumb13001753622011-03-10_10-59-06.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory"
There is such a file in /home/rober132/public_html/garden-club.org/files/2010/12/05/2/image/456/largethumb13001753622011-03-10_10-59-06.jpg
eg, ...2010/12/06/2/... is being asked for, ...2010/12/05/2/... exists.
I thought it might be some time zone thing, but the files in question were not uploaded in December 2010 - but in March 2011.
Any idea what is happening here?
Cheers
Don

You must log in to post replies.Have you downloaded the external image dir?
Have You changed the path to this dir in your DB.
What about the OS?
eg, yes. I do not understand why the local site is looking for the files in a different directory than the remote site.
The local OS is Kubuntu 10.10. I think the remote machine is Debian.
I have tried to keep the files in the same places on both machines.
Have you changed the path of the data directory on Elgg MetaStrings table if it exists?
