So, I get the following message when I try to enable plugins I have properly uploaded in my /mod directory:
Form is missing _token or _ts fields
It's a brand new install of elgg 1.7.7.
I've read a couple of other threads where this message pops up, but it doesn't seem that my issue is connected. Ideas? Thanks for any assistance out there!

You must log in to post replies.disable all non-elgg core plugins, then try...
Yeah, no go on that one. The following plugins are enabled at the moment- they can't be disabled, and none of the other plugins listed on the page can be enabled. Ideas?

Mostly likely bad .htaccess file. Try deleting it and copying htaccess_dist to .htaccess
@Cash,
That was the trick. Thanks!
One other question. I enabled several plugins one at a time without issue. Then I enabled all, and got this message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare new_index() (previously declared in /home/o111128/public_html/peach/mod/SWnavigationImage/start.php:11) in /home/o111128/public_html/peach/mod/elggThemeC/start.php on line 14
Yeesh... Fixes?
I deleted the elggThemeC directory in my mod folder and it all worked...
