I am having tough times installing Elgg on Xampp (lampp) on my Ubuntu. When I fill-up the installation form and hit save, I get a page like the image below. Does anyone have a fix on this?

You must log in to post replies.ok Check your dataroot directory permissions and set to 777 , other thing check mod rewrite is working or not.
Why use xampp rather than using PHP, Apache and MySQL available in Ubuntu?
@ghumanz Yes, they are working. I can confirm that.
@Cash I tried that before. But somehow, the mod_rewrite apache module never worked. So, giving XAMPP a try.

Thanks, Cash! I had seen that before though. But, going to to give another try at it.
