Today I migrated my website to a VPS from shared hosting account, everything seems to working fine except 75% + of my photos are missing. Has anyone seen this before or have a suggestion?

same with me I experienced same problem with only one user, all other are showing accept 3 albums of one user, and that albums are set to private , when i change those from private to public and then i migrate , everything is done properly, I think some where is the path entry in database with private albums separately, wait for reply from tidy pics team.
@ghumanz thanks for your comment. It is strange - some albums have 2 or 3 photos visible and others have none. Uploads new pictures with no problem. Hopefully I can find a solution.
please check that is the only private albums are not showing or all other have same problem?
Did you change the uploaded directory path in elgg_datalists>>>dataroot to new location
if yes then please check the the same path etry in elgg_metastings you will see there one entry with same path of data root directory chage it also will fix your problem 99 % ,
warning do not delete any thing here otherwise you will lost lot from site , take a proper backup of eveything to safe place before doing these changes.. enjoy!
I started going into more albums and it seems that a lot of the pictures are actually in there. The photos that my members made album covers are missing in all cases. Also, there are a couple of albums that are missing entirely.
@ghumanz - I checked and it doesn't seem to have any correlation between being private or public, either way they are missing.
did you checked elgg_metastings it fixed my same problem??
I went and checked the database elgg_metastrings - it was incorrect so I changed it, unfortunately it didn't seem to fix the issue. I was excited for a moment :)
try to run www.yoursite.com/upgrade.php
Tried it - actually tried it a couple of times :) Frustrating...
try to find some other entry in elgg_metastings or check elgg_datalists>>>dataroot again is that correct and what is the php version you used???? if it is 5.1 then that is the problem
