Send remember emails to users who haven't logged in for a specific perio

Has anybody ever developed a plugin where it sends a notification to a user who hasn't logged in for say 3 months to ask them if their profile is still up to date, etc?
Probably daily cron job to check for metdata lastlogintime, but just checkin if I'm not going to be doing double work here :-).

We had to start creating this from scratch because of very large member-base (187000+) and just could not work with the grind of the elgg-mill mass-emailers. The FBFK mailer *is driven off CRON and some funky data-files which keep track of users (old & new) and so on -- to mass email from -- will take about 24-36 hours to run thru our users' database ;) I'll post more when modules are done testing (x187K LOLZ;)
