Hey Folks,
I am getting into Elgg and I like the functionality a lot. I see numerous problems for validating Elgg's output. Several old skool attributes like border for images are used and targets. I have been working for years with TYPO3 and have done a lot of work to get TYPO3 to output correct XHTML. Especially now I also would like to use Elgg for dutch municipal or governmental websites the issue of valid output is very important. Webguidelines are very strict here and are becoming ever more important in other countries as well. In the bugtracker I saw the issue somewhere which was degraded from major to minor. Is there some focus on this subject in some group? At a certain point this will become an issue.
Can someone shed some light on this?
