Problem e-mail and groups

1) the confirmation email does not receive the confirmation link to register as I do?
2) there is a pluning which only the administrator to create groups and during recordingis to choose the group that the user wants to enter. If there'd pay for him to create. Sorry for my bad english

1) I checked the spam box. But the e-mail arrives that does not contain only the confirmation link.

I'm using Group Member Manager that allows me to add users to groups - http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/project/576620/developer/saiken/group-member-manager. If you read the comments, you will see one from me where I have added a link to it to create groups, and also removed the option to create groups from the groups menu to stop users doing it.
I'm also using Form and Related Plugins http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/project/384913/developer/kevin/form-and-related-plugins. I use Flexreg to produce a custom registration form, and you can add a list of optional groups that people can choose to join, and also set up groups that they automatically join.
Using these two plugins, you can give new users the option to choose what groups they want to join, force them to join certain groups, and admin can sign them up to groups manually.
