The pulldown system as supplied is not designed for large pulldowns.

When I create these for clients, I use the form_custom_field_type_manager function to create a custom field type that typically populates the pulldown from a file on the file system.

Might the source of your County lists look like ->

- This is from some experimenting I was doing for a client towards similar setups for French 'counties' (they call them "departments")

Mind you - the France layout had input for the postal-code - eg 12345 - which then translated to the Department and City with no further input..

DhrupDeScoop, It's simpler than that. Just a list like "Aberdeenshire, Anglesey, Angus, Angus, Argyllshire...etc.". The problem is, no one seem to have a definitive list, and the more I search the internet, the more I find different versions, and people complaining that there's not a definitive list!

I've decided to simplify the options to regions of Britain, so it's now a much shorter list. It's not so precise, but makes the information more usable for what I want to do. I may need to add a counties list later though!
