Hi, Mario,
Can you read this post and see if it helps with your problem? http://evanwinslow.com/2010/11/elgg-troubleshooting-allowed-memory-size-of-67108864-bytes-exhausted/. I know it's about memory, but the other common symptom seems to be this "redeclared class" issue that keeps coming up.
sorry but it didnt help. still getting the same error
i'm seeing the same error in the apache log after upgrading to 1.7.6 - only the homepage of the site is loading:
Cannot redeclare class IOException in /my-path/engine/lib/exceptions.php on line 19
edit: this occurs only after the database is upgraded, with just the php files changed the pages load ok (so far)
ah, i resolved this on my server.. i found that the apache site definitions needed updating as i moved the site to a new folder.. missed those! ;)
