Hello
On my site i created a private group which should allow staff to communicate in a seperate area.
I invited all the members and they could accept the invitation ... so in my view they all suscribed to the group and are listed as members. But if them members try to enter the group some of them can't see it and some will be redirected to main-page of the whole elgg installation.
Did I something wrong?
Please help.

Isn't there anyone who could help me ?
Hey, please
I need some help with groups. I have elgg 1.7.4 and the group module doesn't seem to work propperly ... suscription to groups doesn't work as it should :-(
I could also pay a small amount, if someone would check/fix this for me.
Have you tried disabling the groups plugin, deleting the mod\groups folder, and then taking the mod\groups folder from the default elgg 1.7.4 install, and moving it in to your mod folder, and then enabling groups again...?
yes without any consequences
Try disabling all your plugins except for groups, and then see if it works normally.
so did i ... it didn't work normally! :-(
If you disabled all the plugins besides for groups and it still encountered issues, then it may very well be a problem with your database. Sadly, I don't have any experience at fixing DB issues with elgg. Sorry >.<
ok, im now looking for a DB-master ...
thx untamed for your help.
Did you try removing "groups" from the mold folder and and reinstalling it agaian? (see the note above by Untamed)
