I have uploaded version 0.1 of the groups clone plugin. It provides basic functionality - it loads, it adds a tools menu item, it makes and displays clones. The groups plugin is duplicated and ten (10) files have been edited. A readme documents the changes. All edits have been documented in their respective files.

I do not recommend using this on a production site. It was developed on elgg v1.7.3 but will probably be fine on an 1.7 version.

This is the first version. Many issues remain. Following versions will build on this base.

Look for a companion plugin "Groups Subtype Enabler". I will upload it later today. It addresses issues related to subtyping groups. It too will be released as version 0.1 and will track the development and release of the groups clone plugin versions.
