Adding More Users To the "Newest Member" area on the Homepage

Hello,
I am brand new to Elgg and have figured out how to get things pretty much set-up except for one small mod. I would like to increase the # of new members and new groups currently diplayed on the home page. Any idea on how to do this? I'm running the latest version of Elgg. Thanks!

Thanks Gillie - I then assume I can increase this to any number? Do you know if it get's funky after a certain amount?
No, but I don't think so. The friends widget on profile has 100 as select option.
Thanks again. I checked and it was set up for 18, but my site is only showing 10. I changed it to 25 just to see but no luck. What am I missing?

Hi - yeah I fixed that. It shows those that don't as well but still only 10. I used a bug fix that I found on another forum here somewhere. Perhaps that's the problem....

@mattd you are editing wrong file, are u using Custom_Index plugin? if so, file you need to edit is new_index.php in \views\default\canvas\layouts ;- )
ah.....That may make sense then. On a side note, any idea what this is;

It happened when a new user signed up via an email request.
@Juipo in that case the file to edit must be custom_index/index.php ;)
