edit individual groups page
my version of elgg - elgg Release - 1.7, Version - 2010030101
Hello,
I would like to customize the groups page. not the main groups page that lists all the groups but rather each individual groups page. For example, I have created a group called "mentors" and in the "mentors" group page I have created a group icon.
Beneath the group description is a group owner link. I would like to to incorporate a "group leader" who can act as a "moderator" which I think I got figured out with the super admin plugin and the group ownership plugin. What I would like to do is display the "group leader" instead of group owner and I would like to display their avatar instead of just a plain old link. I'm aware that I can do this with css and I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is which stinkin' page do I edit to accomplish this on each of my group pages?
and just out of curiosity, can anyone explain why under statistics it tells me I have 222 widgets? how the heck do I access these widgest because I'm only seeing the standard out of the box widgets a couple of widgets that installed with plugins.

You must log in to post replies.you can modify groups/views/default/group/groupprofile.php. If you need some additional customization for group profiles, this plugin may be helpfull.
@krspies : you need some amount of additional programming in the groupprofile.php page.
The 222widgets under statistics page is the total widgets your members are using.
Mike, I do have the groups widgets plugin. it's pretty awesome but it's not the widgets I'm looking to change. I think I've got it figured out how to do the changes I want.
